Science, Love & EFT with Dawson Church
Dawson Church presented this workshop for EFT Events in 2009. He gave an eloquent explanation of the science that he believes explains the phenomenon of EFT. This is what he is good at. Dawson has since taken over the emofree.com website and has started teaching EFT training workshops. This is what he is not good at.
Learn about the breakthroughs of the new biology: epigenetics, the science of intention and the application to improving and enjoying our human relationships. And how to explain EFT to your doctor! Workshop feedback:
"The deep and subtle shifts and benefits I recieved from this amazing weekend are still making themselves felt. Dawson delivered eloquent and inspiring scientific evidence to support the benefits of techniques like EFT, meditation and positive thinking, laying the occasional inner sceptical voice to rest, in the face of the proof of their ability to improve physical and emotional health. The Craiglands was a wonderful location with its delicious food and gorgeous garden, and the whole event was expertly facilitated and aided by Gwyneth. All in all the experience added up to one greater than the sum of its parts - fantastic."
"Wow! What a fantastic weekend. I came away knowing I am truly on the right path in concentrating on EFT with my work in the community, and my one to one clients. Although very familiar with Dawson’s work over a period of time, listening to him over the weekend took my understanding to a whole new level and I came away totally inspired and aware of how important it is to get EFT out there! Thank you so much Gwyneth for all the work you do to make these events possible you are truly a model of excellence"
"Thanks again for a wonderful weekend. The organisation ran smoothly, the venue was lovely and Dawson was just amazing. I also really enjoyed the drumming - it was a great way to release any tension from the day and was very well facilitated by Anna Green. The effects of the whole experience will be percolating through for a long time to come!"
"The new research and ongoing projects that Dawson is compiling made that weekend and course one of the best I have ever attended - fantastic. The drumming with Anna was just so-oo good and rounded off a fascinating and exciting day. "
Dawson Church author of The Genie in Your Genes is the motivating force behind many of the recent research studies supporting EFT. Publisher, writer, researcher and explorer at the leading edge of science, health and human consciousness, Dawson brings energy, enthusiasm and clear thinking to EFT. Dawson emigrated to America with his family as a teenager. Now a resident of the beautiful wine region Sonoma County in California he is delighted to return to the UK for this workshop to bring to tappers the latest answers to the much asked question "how does it work?" and "what is happening when we use tapping techniques" Dawson's website www.soulmedicineinstitute.org
The Genie in Your Genes is his book linking consciousness to genetic change and therefore to health and healing. This single book summarizes a chain of remarkable scientific discoveries that are revolutionizing the ways we think about our minds and bodies and the amazing effects of energy therapies on DNA itself.
Gary Craig, Originator of EFT, says: "Once in a great while, an expansive book traces the connections between seemingly disconnected field of science to produce a brilliant new synthesis. This work, linking genetics, electromagnetism, medicine, and social change, is a monumental feat of scholarship and imagination, and provides a fascinating glimpse of the exciting possibilities that lie ahead."
Bianca von Heiroth AAMET Practitioner writes: Reading The Genie in your Genes was an awesome experience. He presented so many staggering truths in these 300 pages, - some of which I already had an intuition, and some completely new and eye-opening. He explains the new epigenetic ideas so simply and clearly that I, with a non-scientific background, felt intelligent… and greatly encouraged to continue the path of EFT! When he says : “Our bodies are more plastic than we once thought, and this flexibility carries with it the possibility of rapid, miraculous healing”, he explains how he comes to this conclusion and opens new, wide, exciting perspectives. He very certainly hits the truth in saying: “Energy tapping is to the twenty-first century what hand-washing was to the nineteenth”. "
Jacqui Footman AAMET Trainer writes: I just happened to start reading Dawson's book The Genie in your Genes a couple of weeks before major surgery and finished it the night before my op. The scientific perspective on energy medicine was just right at a time when the dialogues with those caring for me were so scientifically-based. I was able perfectly to mesh my tapping with the care I received in hospital becoming ever more positive with the result that the surgical ward doctor remarked on how much I was doing to promote my own recovery; I went home in 4 days when I had originally been told 7. I did not need prescription meds for pain, which again amazed the doctor. This taught me how strong a position EFT deserves both in its own right and in tandem with orthodox medical practice."
Bruce Lipton, Ph.D. author of The Biology of Belief says: "Dawson Church skillfully interweaves ancient wisdom, spiritual healing, and leading edge science in defining a credible foundation for the emerging practice of energy medicine."
